• Regulatory Updates:
  • Mandatory PKCE Implementation: As part of HTI-1 regulatory requirements, PKCE is now mandatory for all Smart on FHIR applications. The Greenway Authorization Server will support only the S256 code challenge method, and support for the plain code challenge method has been discontinued. Applications that are not compliant with this update by October 20, 2025, will no longer receive access tokens.
• Resource Updates:
  • Removed: The QuestionnaireResponse resource has been removed from the Developer Platform.

• Corrections have been made to the Binary Resource Retrieval workflow.

• SMART 2.0 Support - As a part of HTI-1 regulatory requirement, Greenway FHIR enabled to support SMART 2.0 for SMART on FHIR application through required configuration and implementation.
• FHIR System Performance Improvement - Upgraded and enhanced the FHIR Service infrastructure as well as the associated logging. Defects in FHIR services are identified and rectified to improve the performance and stability.

• Upgraded technical system for better security and efficiency.
• Bug Fixes: Addressed several issues, including correcting the "sub" claim in ID tokens to map to the user UUID instead of the email address.

• Regulatory Updates: As part of the HTI-1 regulatory requirements, we now support SMART 2.0 authorization scopes. SMART 2.0 introduces granular, flexible, and expressive scopes that allow developers to request fine-grained access permissions to FHIR resources. For more details, please refer to the documentation.
• Resource Updates:
  • Removed: Appointment and Consent resources have been removed from the Developer Platform, as our FHIR ecosystem does not support them.
  • Added: Support for MedicationDispense and Specimen resources has been introduced.

  • Updated the Dashboard to display the visual indicators for the Client Expiry Date column.
  • Enabled Secret Rotation anytime for the Secret Apps.
